Editing Hanger 18

The theory was popularized in 1974 by conspiracy theorist Robert Spencer Carr, who claimed the hangar was located at the base near Dayton, Ohio. The theory suggests that debris from the 1947 Roswell incident, where a craft and crew from another world were allegedly crashed and recovered, was shipped to the hangar. However, the USAF denies the existence of Hangar 18, and the base's Office of Public Information says that there is no Hangar 18 and never was. They do acknowledge that there is a Building 18 on the base, as well as Buildings 18A–18G, which are all part of the Building 18 Complex. A hangar, Hangar 23, is located next door to Building 18 and is connected to it above and below ground level
