==History==
On 11 December 1984, Jamie Shandera, a producer of TV documentaries, received an envelope with a canister of exposed but undeveloped black & white 35mm film, (i.e. photograph negatives). These contained photographs of several documents, which nowadays are referred to as the MJ-12 documents, or Majestic Documents.

One of the documents was the so-called Eisenhower Briefing. It was "an eight page briefing paper to President Eisenhower detailing a UFO crash at [[Roswell UFO Incident|Roswell]], New Mexico in 1947, another crash at El Indio, Texas in 1950, and listing the members of the government's special [[Majestic-12]] or '[[MJ-12]]' UFO group. It was dated '18 November, 1952', and it gave Admiral Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter as the briefing officer." (UFO evidence website)
