Abraham Zapruder:
On 22nd November, 1963, Abraham Zapruder filmed the motorcade of President John F. Kennedy. He later explained to Wesley J. Liebelerabout the background to the filming. "I didn't have my camera but my secretary (Lillian Rogers) asked me why I don't have it and I told her I wouldn't have a chance even to see the President and somehow she urged me and I went home and got my camera."
Al Capone:
Alphonse Capone was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1899. When he was 22 he was recruited by Johnny Torrio, a bootlegger in Chicago. Torrio was one of the many people who had established his business after the passing of the National Prohibition Act in 1920. Capone's job was to persuade speakeasy proprietors to buy Torrio's illegal alcohol.
Albert Anastasia:
Albert Anastasia was born in Tropea, Italy, on 26th February, 1902. Anastasia moved to the United States in 1919 and settled in New York. He joined the gang led by Joe Masseria. However, in 1931, agreed to join Lucky Luciano and Bugsy Siegel, in the killing of Masseria at a Coney Island restaurant.
Allen W. Dulles:
Allen Dulles, the son of a Presbyterian minister, and the younger brother of John Foster Dulles, was born in Watertown on 7th April 1893. His grandfather was John Watson Foster, Secretary of State under Benjamin Harrison. His uncle, Robert Lansing, was Secretary of State in the Cabinet of President Woodrow Wilson.
Arlen Specter:
Specter was appointed assistant district attorney of Philadelphia in 1959. Following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy he was appointed as assistant counsel to the Warren Report. Specter was the man closely associated with the single-bullet theory. This was the belief that one of the bullets fired that day hit both Kennedy and John Connally.
Bill Hunter:
Bill Hunter worked as a reporter for the Long Beach Independent Press Telegram. He was involved in the investigation of the killing of President [John F. Kennedy (President)|John F. Kennedy]. Hunter was shot dead by Creighton Wiggins, a policeman in the press room of a Long Beach police station.

Fulgencio Batista, the son of a labourer, was born in Cuba in 1901. He joined the army and as a sergeant-major took part in the successful army coup against President Machado.
Gary Underhill:
After the assassination of President Kennedy, Gary Underhill told his friend, Charlene Fitsimmons, that he was convinced that he had been killed by members of the CIA. He also said: "Oswald is a patsy. They set him up".
George Senator:
In 1962 Senator moved in with Jack Ruby. He paid no rent but in return he did occasional work in Ruby's Carousel Club. According to the attorney, Jim Martin, Senator was "overwhelmed with fear" after the assassination of John F. Kennedy and talked about leaving Dallas.

During his trial Ruby claimed he had killed Lee Harvey Oswald because he "couldn't bear the idea of the President's widow being subjected to testifying at the trial of Oswald". Later he changed his mind claiming that his lawyer, Tom Howard, had put him up to saying it.

Jacqueline Bouvier, the daughter of a New York City financier, was born in Southampton, New York, was born in 1929. She worked as a photographer with the Washington Times before marrying John F. Kennedy in 1953.

John F. Kennedy UFO Connection:
President John F. Kennedy may have had more than the usual knowledge about UFOs, according to several credible sources. Further support for Kennedy’s high-level knowledge regarding UFOs came from a former steward aboard Air Force One who told of a cryptic remark by President Kennedy.
Karyn Kupcinet:
The first person to die linked to the case was Karyn Kupcinet...It was argued that the conspirators were trying to frighten off her father and journalist, Irv Kupcinet from telling what he knew.
Lee Harvey Oswald:
Lee Harvey Oswald was interrogated by the Dallas Police for over 13 hours. However, the police made no tapes nor took any transcripts of the interrogations. Oswald denied he had been involved in the killing of Kennedy. He also told newsmen on the night of the assassination he was a "patsy" (a term used by the Mafia to describe someone set up to take the punishment for a crime they did not commit).
Lone-Gunman Theory:
As Lee Harvey Oswald could not fire his bolt-action rifle fast enough to wound John F. Kennedy and John Connally with separate shots, the Warren Commission argued that a single bullet hit Kennedy in the back of the neck and exited from the throat just below the Adam's apple. The same bullet entered Connally's back, exited from his chest, went completely through his right wrist, and lodged in his left thigh.
Meyer Lansky:
Maier Suchowljansky (Meyer Lansky), the son of Jewish parents, was born in Grodno, Russia (now in Poland) on 4th July, 1902. The family moved to the United States in 1911 and the settled in New York.
Operation Mongoose:
It was the failed Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961 that directly influenced the implementation of Operation Mongoose shortly thereafter, a direct assault by the CIA against Communist Cuba.
Roger Craig (Police Officer):
Roger Craig had been named Officer of the Year by the Dallas Traffic Commission and he was promoted four times. He was to receive no further promotion or commendation after his refusal to withdraw his identification of the Mauser and admit to being wrong about his identification of the man who ran from the Depository to be picked up by the Rambler on Elm Street. For this he suffered the most dire consequences.
Santo Trafficante Jr.:
Santo Trafficante Jr. was a prominent American Mafia boss who led the Trafficante crime family, also known as the Tampa crime family or the Tampa Mafia, from 1954 until his death in 1987.
Single-Bullet Theory:

On 22nd November, 1963, Jean Hill, a Dallas schoolteacher, watched the motorcade of President John F. Kennedy from the grassy knoll facing the Texas School Depository Building. Hill and her friend, Mary Moorman were only a few feet away from President John F. Kennedy when he was shot. Hill thought the shots had come from behind her on the grassy knoll and as soon as the firing stopped she ran towards the wooden fence in an attempt to find the gunman. However, Hill was arrested by two policemen and taken into custody.
