I have a love/hate relationship with MediaWiki. On one hand you have one of the oldest, most develop and extensible packages available today. On the other, you have(in my option) on of the worst documented application on the web. Let me explain. I have spent may an hour, days, weeks even trying to find examples and information on how to proceed on a configuration, setup or modification of this software and without fail, it's fallen flat! The information is incomplete and sends the reader down a rabbit of of links after links of disjointed information and incomplete examples or massive generalities. Ending with "you get the idea." No, no I, or anyone else for that matter, don't! | |||
So it's time for me to put-up or shut up! So here is yet another attempt to clarify and give examples on how to (Fill in the blank). Any information, better procedures, or '''Constructive Criticism''' to help someone completely new to this subject matter is welcome. Gods know I'll need the help...and a six pack! | |||
