Falcon Lake Incident (Manitoba, Canada)

[edit | edit source]

The Falcon Lake Incident remains one of the most well-documented and chilling UFO encounters in history. In 1967, Stefan Michalak claimed to have come face-to-face with a strange flying craft in the remote wilderness of Manitoba. What followed was a bizarre series of events; physical burns, radiation traces, and an investigation that left more questions than answers.

On May 20th 1967 Stefan Michalak an amateur geologist set out into the wilderness, near Falcon Lake Manitoba, searching for silver and quartz. Around noon he spotted two metallic disc shaped objects descending from the sky. One of them landed nearby. Emitting a reddish glow and making a low humming sound, the other hovered briefly before taking off into the distance.

Stefan approached the landed craft observing its seamless metallic surface and a strong sulfuric smell. Then a panel slid open revealing a bright purple light and muffled voices inside. He reached out and touched the craft instantly burning his glove due to its extreme heat. Suddenly a vent likee opening on the craft released a burst of scorching gas knocking Stephan backwards. His shirt and hat caught fire and he suffered severe burns on his chest in a grid like pattern. Which was caused when the craft emitted a strong Rush of gas or air.

The craft then Rose into the sky with a high-pitch woring sound before flying away at great speed leaving him alone in the clearing disoriented and in pain. He stumbled away from the site. Stefan, now suffering from Burns dizziness and nausea, attempted to make his way back to civilization. He had to navigate miles of wilderness often stopping due to overwhelming sickness and weakness.

He eventually reached the highway where he was able to flag down a ride back to his hotel. At the hotel he collapsed from exhaustion and pain prompting Stefan to call for medical help Stephan barely made it back to his hotel room, suffering from nausea dizziness and intense burns. The event would soon attract the attention of Authorities on both sides of the Border.
