Scottish Rite

=What it is:

The Scottish Rite is the most widely practiced Rite within Freemasonry.

The 33rd Degree:

It is the highest degree awarded in the Scottish Rite, signifying completion of the Rite's teachings and philosophy through dramatic presentations of its degrees.

===Structure:=== In the Scottish Rite system, the degrees from the 4th to the 33rd are overseen by a Supreme Council, building upon the ethical teachings of the initial Blue Lodge (1st to 3rd) degrees.
