                        CIUFOR LASER PROJECT

The basic theory of lasers (light amplification by stimulated emission
of radiation) began in 1917 with the atomic theories of Einstein, who pointed
out that radiation from an atom could be controlled under certain conditions.
Until the 1950s, lasers were only theory. In June 1954 Dr. Charles Townes of
Bell Laboratories demonstrated an ammonia gas maser (microwave amplification
by stimulated emission of radiation) equal to 24,000 Mhz without the use of a
resonate cavity. In 1959 it was discovered that masers could amplify light
as well as microwave radiation. This development led to operations in the
light spectrum that was refered to as optical masers, with the name being
changed to laser in 1965. The pulsed ruby laser was developed in 1960 and
the continous gas laser in 1961. This brings us to the CIUFOR Laser
Project designed to Communicate with Alien intelligence.

The CIUFOR Laser Project is the establishment of a continuous Laser beam
pointed at specific coordinates in the sky and modulated electronically with
a repeating recorded message directing whoever receives it to answer on a
secret radio frequency known only to the Director of CIUFOR. Any valid
response will complete the loop verifying laser communications with, shall we
say, someone or something intelligent. It is planned to operate the laser 24
hours a day if possible, or until results are obtained or the equipment fails
beyond economical repair. The project will initially utilize a Class II Laser
modulated electronically and interfaced with an audio amplifier coupled to a
prerecorded repeating message. There will be two receivers operating 24 hours
daily recording any signal received. One will receive on 6,328 Angstroms and
the other on a Non-disclosed RF frequency. The project will consist of four
phases. Phase I is Preparation and Implementation. Phase II is Monitoring.
Phase III is Contact and Phase IV will consist of what ever happens after the
contact. Support independent UFO Research.
