Bradshaw Ranch is a 90-acre property located approximately 12 miles west of Sedona in the Verde Valley of Arizona, situated between Hartwell Canyon wash and Loy Canyon wash, approximately 4 miles southwest of Secret Mountain and 1.5 miles west of the Palatki Heritage Site, within the Coconino National Forest. The ranch was originally acquired by Bob Bradshaw — a Hollywood stuntman, photographer, livestock wrangler, and location scout — in approximately 1960 for $200 per acre. It served for decades as a filming location for Hollywood Westerns before transitioning, in the 1990s, into one of the most actively discussed paranormal and UFO hotspots in the American Southwest.

The property gained national attention through the 1995 book "Merging Dimensions: The Incredible Saga of Bradshaw Ranch" by Linda Bradshaw and UFO investigator Tom Dongo, which documented a range of claimed anomalous phenomena beginning in 1992: orbs, luminous aerial objects, humanoid entities, electromagnetic disturbances, dimensional portal effects, interdimensional beings, and multiple UFO encounters. In 2001, the U.S. Forest Service acquired the property through a chain of real estate transactions: Bob Bradshaw sold the land to his Jeep tour company for approximately $2.75 million in 1998; Gamma Investors LLC acquired it by 2001 and sold it to the California nonprofit Trust for Public Land for $10 in May 2001; the Trust for Public Land then sold it to the U.S. Forest Service for $3.15 million in June 2001. The Forest Service subsequently closed the ranch to public access in 2003, posting it as restricted government property with no trespassing signs.
