     Michael Corbin asked me the other day to offer some more
information on Mr. Ted Owens who spent much of his life
conducting research on the existence of outer-space
intelligences.  I must tell you in writing this I can claim
no detailed knowledge of Mr. Owens work.  I also have no way
of verifying any of it.  What I am about to relay to you is
told in Mr. Owens own words.  Much of it may sound far
fetched, extraordinary, perhaps even foolish.  If that is
your opinion after reading this, I caution you to remember
that many of our greatest minds thought the same of Jules
Verne's account of a trip to the Moon.  Like most you, I can
claim no direct experience with UFO's or people who claim to
have been spirited away by intelligences from outer space.
But I suppose prudence dictates that we at least maintain an
open mind about such possibilities.

     My association with Mr. Owens was very brief.  I met him
as a journalist in the 1970's in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He
was interviewed in a television news program.  Since I spoke
with him in 1976, I have not seen him or heard from him.
However, recently I have wanted to get in touch with him and
have discovered that he has moved.  For that reason, I placed
the message on this network.

     The following material is excerpted from Mr. Owen's 1969
book, "How to Contact Space People" and from an interview:

     QUESTION:  Exactly what are these Space Intelligences,
or S.I.'s that you refer to?

     ANSWER:  They are exactly that, space intelligences.
They are far more intelligent than we are and are
considerably advanced.  And they have been on this planet for
numerous years, working particularly with children.

     QUESTION:  Why do they like children?

     ANSWER:  Children are seeds.  The other day I received a
phone call from a 13 year old boy who heard me in an
interview over WCAU in Philadelphia.  He said he and his
mother and father had been in a car driving on the New Jersey
Turnpike when they saw a flying saucer directly in front of
them.  They pulled to the side of the road, and it stayed in
sight for a few moments before leaving.  The youngster was
facinated by the experience, and that demonstrates why they
like working with children.

     The problem is they can contact the minds of children,
but they cannot make children communicate with them.  It is
not a two-way proposition.  That is where I come in. Because
I have developed a way of communicating with the SI's.

     QUESTION:  What kind of influence do these SI's have on
our thinking?
     ANSWER:  A great deal of influence.  Of course, you have to
bear in mind that the SI's monitor the thinking of our key people
in high places, as well as people we not suspect they would have
any interest in.  They also conduct some of their influencing
through our mass media, particularly television.

     They are interested in our entire human race.  They are
interested only in making the earth healthy, happy, productive,
growing and creative.  They have no interest in our politics,
etc.

     QUESTION:  Is it possible we will ever achieve the SI's
level of intelligence?

     ANSWER:  Absolutely impossible.  They have different powers
and abilities than we have.  You see the SI's are in a different
world entirely.  They are quite literally in another dimension.
But they have discovered how to shift from their dimension into
our's.  They have access to both worlds, while we, of course,
only have access to our world.  These SI's have given many of our
top leaders information which only they have about world events,
catastrophes, etc.

     QUESTION:  Can you document your work with the SI's?

     ANSWER:  Yes.  I have completed over 181 experiments in
communicating with the SI's all of which I have documented
extensively.

     QUESTION:  Can you explain how the SI's communicate with you
and the others they choose?

     ANSWER:  Through Psycho-Kenises, ESP, or what you wish to
call it.  Several years ago I gave a demonstration of this
ability to a number of scientists at Duke University.  I was
invited there by Dr. Rhine.  He set up the experiment.  My
assignment was to sit ten feet away from a table on which he had
propped up a pair of heavy scissors, and my task was to knock the
scissors down using only the power of my mind.  For over an hour
I labored mentally to knock those scissors down, and when I was
just about ready to give up, and the scientists were ready to
walk out the room, there was this sudden loud whack and the
scissors literally flew off the table.  Not just fell, but flew
off the table...landing maybe five feet away.

     Another time while driving with my family in Los Angeles, I
had a flat tire.  The car was on a steep down-hill angle.
Suddenly the car slipped off the jack pinning my hand between
the car and the curb.  Suddenly as if by magic the car rose into
the air so I could remove my hand.  When I looked at my hand
there was a deep mark on it, but no bones were broken and there
was no pain.

     This ability with my mind was a gift of the SI's.
     The previous material was excerpted from Mr. Owens' book and
from an interview he gave several years ago.  There is much more,
of course, but at present I just don't have the time to present
it here.

     Again, as I noted, you are free to make up your own mind.
Personally, I am not convinced.  But in his life Mr. Owens has
appeared on numerous radio and television programs, has spoken to
many groups on the existence of UFO's and other space
intelligences.  Is it all the conjuring of an overactive
imagination or is it all real?  I suppose for many of us who
might consider ourselves skeptics, such answers will not come
easily.  The best we can do is offer Mr. Owens the benefit of the
doubt.  Because deep within ourselves can we really be sure there
are no such things?
