The 1961 RCAF Letter

- Date: 1961 (approximately)
- Contents: "A check of Royal Canadian Air Force files has revealed no report of an incident involving an RCAF aircraft in the Lake Superior area on the above date."***
- Significance: The foundational documentary denial of the C-47 explanation; issued eight years after the incident by the relevant Canadian authority
