Dr.Michael E. Salla, is a pioneer in the development of ‘Exopolitics’, the political study of the key actors, institutions and processes associated with extraterrestrial life.

He is author of Exposing U.S. Government Policy on Extraterrestrial Life (Exopolitics Institute, 2009) and Exopolitics: Political Implications of the Extraterrestrial Presence (Dandelion Books, 2004) and founder of the popular website: Exopolitics.Org. He has held full time academic appointments at the Australian National University, and American University, Washington DC. He has a PhD in Government from the University of Queensland and an MA in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne, Australia. During his professional academic career, he was best known for organizing a series of citizen diplomacy initiatives for the East Timor conflict that received large financial grants from the United States Institute of Peace and the Ford Foundation.
