Since 1990, NAICCR (North American Institute for Crop Circle Research) has been requesting and collecting information on UGMs (unusual ground markings) in North America. The 1990 and 1991 NAICCR reports were widely circulated, and have been reprinted in a number of books and publications around the world. The favorable response of the ufology and cerealogical community to NAICCR's efforts has encouraged the continued gathering of data for comparison and analysis.
