Subject:  Kentucky Police's helicopter meets a UFO on February 29th, 1993

Today, I tried to call Gardiner Harris, the author of the
article in the Louisville Courier-Journal dated March 4th, 1993.

The paper's phone number: (502)582-4011. The journalist's
number: (502)582-4653.

Since M. Harris was on vacation, I talked a few shorts
minutes with his boss (I think). He wasn't talking too much. I
asked if he could help me. If he knew where Harris had learned of
this story.

He asked me if I had read the article. Then he asked me if
his sources where included in the article. I told him that Harris
had quoted police officers. He replied that if he had quoted
them, he must have talked to them. (Note that he didn't confirmed
that he actually had talked with them. It could be hear-say.)

Since I couldn't get more info, I confirmed that Gardiner
Harris would be back the next monday and we then terminated the
conversation.

I then called Wendy Peters at the Media Office of the
Jefferson County police. Number: (502)574-2010.

She was quite arrogant! After I identified myself and
explained the reasons I was calling, she told me: "I told you
before. We done't have any comments." I was quite surprised since
this was the first time I was calling there. I told her so. She
replied that I had called several other police's department and
that it wouldn't be tolerated anymore.

I told her again that it wasn't me but she didn't believe
me. I then told her that I was simply calling to get a copy of
the press release for that event. She replied that there was no
press release.

We then terminated the conversation.
